Welcome
MCFCFC serves as a platform for community change, service coordination, generation, and management of resources, and increased awareness of and access to services. Members include executive directors from the major child serving systems as well as public officials, family representatives and community organizations.

Council Membership
Mahoning County Family and Children First Council (MCFCFC) is inclusive. Families and service providers whose purpose is compatible with that of council are invited to become a member. Membership contribution begins at $100 / organization. Family representatives do not pay a membership contribution. Bronze, Silver and Gold Level contributions assist to assure a strong county council.
- Bronze Level Partner - $250.00
- Silver Level Partner - $500.00
- Gold Level Partner - greater than $500.00
Members are eligible to apply for grants through MCFCFC, receive letters of support, and receive updates and notices of grant opportunities available through various local, state, and national sources.
Membership Registration form and Invoice is located in Documents link. Identify a representative and alternate who will have voting rights on Advisory Committee. Include additional staff to receive communications regarding council meetings, announcements, updates, trainings, and other notices.
Meetings
MCFCFC Advisory Committee
Agency representatives and providers who serve children and families are encouraged to attend MCFCFC Advisory Committee meetings. Regular meetings of the MCFCFC Advisory Committee are held virtually bi-monthly on the third Thursday of odd numbered months at 8:30 a.m.. MCFCFC Governance Committee
Members as designated in ORC121.37 meet monthly on the first Tuesday of every month at 8:45 a.m. at Mahoning County Children Services Board.
MCFCFC Executive Committee
Members shall include the MCFCFC Chair, Vice-Chair, Immediate Past Chair, Administrative Agent, and Administrator. CSB Director, DD Superintendent, and MHRB Director may be included if those individuals are not officers listed above. Committee shall not exceed five members. Meeting schedule set for Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. prior to each MCFCFC monthly meeting.
