1st Half 2022 real estate taxes payable in 2023 is tenatively scheduled for a March 3, 2023 deadline.
The office of the Treasurer of Mahoning County shall be open to full access by all members of the public. Our office hours are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM. We shall follow all CDC, State of Ohio and local health guidelines while continuing to encourage the wearing of masks and social distancing. We reserve the right to limit the number of taxpayer clients in the Treasurer’s office at any one time.
It is strongly recommended taxpayers continue to make real estate tax payments online, by mail with check or money order, or by phone as has been the case throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The use of payment by cash is discouraged. We ask you limit your in-person visits to our office and continue to make appointments to discuss specific issues whenever possible.
To avoid a 10% penalty, your payment must be postmarked no later than the due date of the current tax bill. If you do not received your tax bill, please call the Treasurer's Office at 330-740-2460.
Note: It is the taxpayer's responsibility to secure a tax bill. Failure to receive a tax bill will not void the 10% penalty for late payment.
